Financial Analysis Certificate Program

Learning to analyse business performance isn't about memorising formulas. It's about understanding what numbers actually mean for real companies facing real decisions. Our twelve-week program teaches practical analysis skills through case studies drawn from Australian businesses across retail, manufacturing, and professional services.

What You'll Actually Learn

We've structured this program around three core modules that build on each other. Each week includes practical exercises using real financial statements from Australian companies.

Module One

Reading Financial Statements

Most people glaze over when they see a balance sheet. We break down what each section tells you about how a business operates.

  • Understanding asset structures
  • Cash flow vs profitability
  • Debt ratios and what they mean
  • Working capital patterns
Module Two

Comparative Analysis Methods

Numbers mean nothing without context. You'll learn to compare performance across time periods, industry benchmarks, and competitor data.

  • Trend analysis techniques
  • Industry standard metrics
  • Seasonal adjustments
  • Growth rate calculations
Module Three

Reporting for Decision-Making

The final module focuses on presenting findings clearly. We cover how to write reports that non-financial managers can actually use.

  • Executive summary writing
  • Visual data presentation
  • Risk identification
  • Actionable recommendations

Who Teaches This Program

Our instructors come from accounting firms, corporate finance departments, and business advisory practices. They've spent years doing the work they're teaching you about. Most sessions include examples from their own consulting engagements—with identifying details changed, obviously.
